Petro Omelianovskiy Appointed Head Of NC ECU.

The CEO of Zakhidenergo (ZAEN: BUY) Petro Omelianovskiy, was appointed President of the National Energy Company of Ukraine (NC ECU). Concorde Capital: Although he has been ZAEN?s CEO since April 2005, during his tenure, Petro Omelianovskiy paid more attention to governing the NC ECU, where he was first vice-president. Last month, after the dismissal of Yuriy Prodan, Omelianovskiy was named acting NC ECU president, so his appointment as President was no surprise. Still, the future of the NC ECU is not clear, as the expediency of this company is being studied by energy sector regulators.
