Plan For Modernization Of Donbasenergo Power Unit Approved

The Cabinet of Ministers approved a plan for the modernization of Donbasenergo’s (DOEN: BUY) Starobeshev plant’s power unit #7. The unit’s installed capacity is 200 MW; modernization costs are USD 30.8 mln (USD 154 per kW of capacity). Alexander Paraschiy: Now Donbasenergo can take a loan to cover the costs of the power unit’s modernization with interest payments to be paid for with additional surcharges to the company’s electricity tariff.
