Production Of Tires Down 9% yoy In January-October To 5.7 Mln Units.

After a 15% yoy decrease in output in September production grew by 1% in October. All Ukrainian producers posted decreases in output in January-October. Rosava, the country?s major producer of car tires decreased output by 9%, output of Dniproshyna, the leading producer of truck tires fell by 7%. Production of truck tires grew by 9% during 10 months of 2005, of car tires decreased by 12%, of tires for agricultural machinery grew by 8%, while for motorcycles decreased by 24%.
