Prominvestbank gets 3rd tranche from Vneshekonombank

Prominvestbank said yesterday on its website that it received the third tranche of a USD 1 bln credit line from Vneshekonombank in the amount of USD 285 mln. Prominvestbank received the first USD 390 mln tranche of February 10 and second USD 325 mln tranche on February 20. The National Bank of Ukraine took the bank out of receivership on March 17 – the first Ukrainian bank to come out from under the NBU’s temporary oversight. Russia’s Vneshekonombank agreed to acquire a 75%+3 stake in Prominvestbank in January 2009. Prominvestbank is Ukraine’s #11 largest bank by assets, according to the National Bank of Ukraine’s January 1, 2009 statistics.
