Rada votes to increase state budget income and expenditures by 0.5%

Yesterday the Verkhovna Rada increasing 2008 state budget income and expenditures by 0.5% or UAH 1.1 bln (USD 233.0 mln) to UAH 222.3 bln (USD 45.9 bln). Andrii Parkhomenko: These minor changes will not have any visible impact on the macroeconomic situation in the country; although the amendments were directed to increase wages, the sum will not have a significant effect on inflation.
