Railway Carriage Producers Say Ukrzaliznytsya's Tenders Are Biased.

The CEOs of Azovmash, Stakhanovsky Wagon Works and Dniprovagonmash intend to sign a memorandum voicing disagreement with the conclusion of Ukrzaliznytsya’s tender committee to purchase 2,500 freight railway carriages from Kryukovsky Carriage Building. The three other producers say that the tender was rigged to give Kryukovsky the contract. They plan to ask the Antimonopoly Committee to oblige Ukrzaliznytsya to take into account the interests of all Ukraine’s producers of carriages. Earlier Ukrzaliznytsya decided to buy 100 passenger carriages from Kryukovsky in 2006.
