decreasing from UAH 10,783 in July, or 3.7% m/m in real terms.

Evgeniya Akhtyrko: Real wage
growth slowed in August despite cooling inflation.
Probably, the continuing appreciation of the national currency is helping
employers to restrain wage growth. In USD terms, the average monthly wage now
exceeds the average monthly wage in 2013 (USD 411), signaling to Ukrainians a
long-awaited economic stabilization.
We expect real wages to climb 9-10% yoy in 2019
(vs. 12.5% yoy in 2018).
