Regal spuds well SV-51

Regal Petroleum, in a press release this week, announced that it spudded well SV-61 in Ukraine on September 5. Regal said it expects it to take about six months to drill to the planned target depth of about 6 ths m. The company said that it is the third well to be spudded with new 2,000 bhp top drive American rigs; the rig used on SV-61 was released from well MEX-106, which reached target depth on July 25 after 196 days of drilling. Well MEX-106 is now being prepared for a production test.
