Regulations To Stock Market Law To Require Publication Of Quarterly Financials

13 February 2008

The Justice Ministry has registered new regulations to the Stock Market law that went into effect on May 12, 2006 requiring companies to provide their quarterly financials to the Security Exchange Commission, which will then be published on the commission’s website for investors. Earlier, only companies in which the state had a 10% stake or greater had to publish their quarterly financials.  The new law is set to take affect on March 1.
