Retail Trade Keeps Accelerating with 29.1% yoy Rise in 11M07

The State Statistics Committee announced yesterday that retail trade turnover increased 29.1% yoy in real terms (or 40% in nominal terms) in 11M07 to UAH 154.7 bln (USD 31 bln), vs. the 25.2% rise in 11M06. Alexander Viktorov: Over 2007, retail trade has been steadily accelerating. The 11M figure is right on target with our forecast for 2007 annual real growth is 30% yoy.
