Russia Offers To Buy As Many Locomotives As LTPL Can Produce

Officials from Ukraine’s monopoly locomotive producer Luhanskteplovoz (LTPL: HOLD) said that Russia’s national railway operator, RZD, had offered to buy as many locomotives as the company could produce in 2007 – 20. The company plans to increase its output by 30% yoy this year. In other news the company repored net losses of USD 2.4 mln in 1Q07.
