Russia's GazpromBank Eyeing Ukrainian Acquisitions

Russia’s GazpromBank has announced plans to purchase a Ukrainian bank in 2007. According to the company’s management, GazpromBank is currently in talks with several Ukrainian banks about possible purchases. GazpromBank plans to use the funds from its upcoming additional share issue to finance the purchase of a Ukrainian bank.
