Russia’s LSR Group acquires Obukhiv Concrete Plant

A 97% stake in the Obukhiv Porous Concrete Plant was acquired by LSR Group (LSRG LI: N/R) for RUB 1,175 mln (USD ~45 mln), LSR announced yesterday in a press release. The Obukhiv plant (Kyiv region) will become part of Aeroc International, the aerated concrete subsidiary of LSR. The acquisition was approved by the board of directors of LSR Group in February 2008. Obukhiv Porous Concrete Plant is the largest aerated concrete producer in Ukraine. LSR Group is one of the leading Russian real estate developers and building materials producers.
