Semenyuk Puts 11% Of MZVM Up For Sale Again.

Semenyuk Puts 11% Of MZVM Up For Sale Again.

12 May 2008

YesterdayInterfax-Ukraine quoted Valentyna Semenyuk, the head of the State Property Fund (SPF) as saying:“We are preparing for the sale now, and I am ready to increase the stake to be sold”. Concorde Capital: We think that statement in fact means the increase of the starting price at the tender from USD 83 ths as announced by the SPF in March, rather than the increase of the stake itself. The SPF directly controls 11% of MZVM. When we contacted the MZVM, they expressed surprise about the announcement. It looks like the SPF is under pressure to fill the budget and are ready to sell this valuable asset at market price. We will be watching for an official announcement from the SPF.
