Sintal reports 2008/09 harvest results

Sintal Agriculture (SNPS GF) announced on Friday that it completed its 2008/09 harvest campaign. The company achieved a total harvest of 323 ths mt from 82 ths ha of land. The company’s principal crop yield increased or remained flat compared to last year’s harvest. Sintal said that as of Nov. 19 it sowed 5.4 ths ha of winter rapeseed, 38.1 ths ha of winter wheat and 7.1 ths ha of winter barley. The company plans to increase its total harvested area to 87.7 ths ha in 2009/10.
