Six Ukrainian milk labs nominated to Russian regulator

Six Ukrainian milk labs nominated to Russian regulator

14 June 2012

Ukraine’s sanitary service offered Rospotrebnadzor six Ukrainian laboratories that can control the quality of milk products exported to Russia. The nomination of the Ukrainian laboratories for quality control was one of the items agreed to between Russian and Ukrainian regulators two months ago as a part of an agreement to unfreeze supplies of Ukrainian cheese to Russia. Currently, quality control is taking place in Russia. Shifting this process onto Ukrainian territory (if it happens) will improve the logistics of exporting cheese to Russia, which is encouraging for Milkiland (MLK PW).
