South Korea’s Largest Bank Eying Acquisitions In Ukraine

The Chairman of Transbank’s Board, Sergey Shcherbina said that the bank is in negotiations with South Korea’s Kookmin Bank, one of the 50 largest banks in the world, on the sale of a 70% stake, according to Ukrainian News. Transbank is Ukraine’s 64th largest bank and finished 1H07 with a net income of USD 0.6 mln and assets of USD 183.2 mln.
