S&P places three Ukrainian banks under review

S&P places three Ukrainian banks under review

17 October 2008

Standard & Poor’s said yesterday, it placed the B+ long-term and B short-term counterparty credit ratings on Alfa-Bank Ukraine, Kredobank (ZUKB: N/R) and Ukrsotsbank (USCB: BUY) on CreditWatch with negative implications. These rating actions follow the placement of the ratings on Ukraine (foreign currency: B+/Watch Neg/B, local currency: BB-/Watch Neg/B, national scale: uaAA) on CreditWatch with negative implications. S&P revised the outlooks on the long-term counterparty credit ratings for these three Ukrainian banks from stable to negative on Monday.
