S&P Raises Ukrsotsbank's Rating.

Standard & Poor’s raised its long- and short-term credit ratings for Ukrsotsbank (USCB: BUY), from B- to B. According to the agency, the upgrade reflects the bank’s strengthened capitalization, improved profitability and efficiency in the first half of 2006, the stabilized political environment and improving Ukrainian economy, the bank’s good commercial franchise and its good financial flexibility and liquidity.
