SPF Might Sell 5% of Ukrtelecom at a Local Stock Exchange Soon

According to Delo newspaper, the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPF) revised its plan to sell 10% of Ukrtelecom (UTEL: HOLD) on local stock exchanges. Instead, the SPF wants to place a 5% stake on local exchanges and depending on the results of the placement , it will make a decision on a strategy for Ukrtelecom’s further privatization. Alexander Paraschiy: If the SPF’s strategy is approved by the government, we can see the placement of the 5% stake in Ukrtelecom in March-April 2007.
