SPF Sets Starting Price For Three Companies To Be Privatized In 2006.

The State Property Fund (SPF) will open bidding for a 98.81% stake in the Kharkiv Electrical Equipment Plant at USD 720,000. A 93.45% stake in Gamma Semiconductor will be put up for sale for USD 2.4 mln and Ukrkhudozhprom, a leather goods and carpets producer, will be on offer for  USD 200,000.  All three stakes are to be offered during one tender, but as separate entities. The SPF has not announced the exact date of the tender yet.
