State Statistics Committee Raises 2007 GDP Growth Estimate to 7.6% yoy in 2007

The State Statistics Committee reported on Friday that it revised its real GDP growth estimation from 7.3% to 7.6% yoy in 2007. According to the State Statistics Committee’s official data, nominal GDP totaled USD 141.2 bln, 0.5% higher than preliminary estimated. The price deflation index in 2007 was 21.7%.
