State Statistics Committee to publish GDP data within 45 days of quarter

The State Statistics Committee of Ukraine said on Friday that it would release GDP data for a quarter within 45 days, vs. 90 days as it had earlier, Interfax wrote. Until 2009, Ukraine had calculated GDP monthly and quarterly; the State Statistics Committee published 1Q09 GDP data only on June 30. The new timetable means that the 2Q09 figure could be known on August 15.
