Specifically, Kryvorizhstal (KSTL: SELL) curtailed its output of crude steel by 5.3% yoy, to 5.1 mln mt and decreased rolled steel production by 3.8% yoy, to 4.5 mln mt. Azovstal’s (AZST: SELL) crude steel output was up 2.8%, to 4.1 mln mt, and its rolled steel output declined 9.8%, to 3.9 mln mt. Zaporizhstal (ZPST: SELL) cut its crude steel production by 0.6%, to 3.25 mln mt, and reduced its rolled steel output by 2.5%,to 2.7 mln mt. Alchevsk Iron & Steel’s (ALMK: BUY) crude steel output was down 3.9%, to 2.75 mln mt, and its rolled steel output fell 5.2%, to 2.1 mln mt. Yenakiyevo Steel’s rolled steel production was down 52.5% yoy, to 189.1 ths mt. In contrast, Dniprospetsstal (DPST) raised its crude electric steel production by 3.8%, to 384.3 ths mt and increased its rolled steel output by 6.6% to 255.4 ths mt.
