Stockmann to Make a Splash in Ukraine with Several Stores in 2007

Finnish retailer Stockmann is planning to open several clothing stores in Ukraine under the brand Seppala by the end of the year, according to the Financial Times. Stockmann has ambitious international expansion plans – by 2011 the company plans to increase sales and income from regions beyond Finland to 50% of the total from the current 24%. Stockmann currently has a presence in Finland, Russia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
