27 November 2008

Sun InBev (SUNI: BUY) said yesterday that it is introducing the new brand Chernihivske Maximum, an ultra-strong beer product with 10% alcohol content, to its product lineup. Sun InBev said the time of the release is to take advantage of higher strong beer consumption during the winter months. According to the company, strong beer consumption in Ukraine is second only to classic lager beer. Olha Pankiv: Chernihivske Maximum will support the company’s leading position in the mainstream beer segment with a price tag of about UAH 3-4 per 0.5 liter glass bottle. Sun InBev’s brand portfolio also includes international brands Stella Artois, Brahma, Beck’s, Staropramen and national brands Rogan, Rogan Four, Yantar and Taller.
