Supreme Court Rejects FS Trading Claims to Odesaoblenergo

8 October 2008

The Ukrainian Supreme Court invalidated its prior decisions on June 27 and July 4 that recognized the legality of the sales-purchase agreement (SPA) for 35% of Odesaoblenergo (ODEN: N/R) shares by FS Trading from the State Property Fund of Ukraine. The ruling preserves the 2001 privatization of the stake to Overcon (VS Energy), which currently controls 67% of Odesaoblenergo.
