TAS Group to enter Belarusian banking market

According to Kommersant-Ukraine, citing the Association of Belarusian Banks, Ukrainian TAS Group, owned by Serhiy Tihipko and his wife, applied to the National Bank of Belarus to establish a subsidiary. The tentative name of the new bank is T-Bank. Kommersant’s source in TAS Group confirmed the group’s intentions to develop a banking and insurance business in Belarus.
