The first two units of the Tashyk HPSP, with an electricity generation capacity of 300 MW, will be launched in December 2005, instead of September 2005. Concorde Capital: The pump-storage plants are highly maneuverable units which can accumulate electricity in the case of excess supply, and produce electricity in case of excess demand. Currently, disparities between the lowest electricity demand (night) and the highest (evening), are regulated by thermal power plants. The Tashlyk HPSP will decrease usage needs by at least 300MW for thermal power plants in terms of maneuverable capacity. Postponing the initiation of the facilities will reduce the demand for thermal energy to 2004 levels.
