Telenor Versus Alfa: More Trouble.

Following an announcement a week ago by Alfa and VimpelCom that Telenor had agreed with Alfa’s proposal for solving the corporate conflict in VimpelCom and Kyivstar, and further Telenor’s denial that the conflict is close to an end, today the conflicting parties changed roles. Alfa threatened walk away from negotiations, because according to the company, Telenor’s proposals are not acceptable. However Telenor officials have said that the process is close to an end. Concorde Capital: All these charades  point out how different each companies’ vision for solving the conflict is and how far way they are from an agreement.
