The European Commission (EC) will investigate the activities of seamless pipe makers from Russia, Ukraine, Romania and Crotia

Currently, Ukrainian imports of small diameter seamless pipes to Europe are subject to a 38.5% customs duty. Concorde Capital: The companies to be affected by the investigation are the Nyzhnyodniprovsky pipe rolling plant (NITR), owned by Interpipe, the Dnipropetrovsk Pipe Plant, owned by the Industrial Union of Donbass, and Niko Tube seamless pipe plant, controlled by Interpipe. Of the three companies, Niko Tube is most susceptible to possible EC sanctions.
