The NERC Introduces Differentiated Gas Tariffs for Households

The following differentiated gas tariffs will take effect Nov. 1, 2006:
- Wholesale tariffs: $67/tcm for gas used only for cooking (the level suggested earlier by the Cabinet), and $82/tcm for gas used for both cooking and heating
- Retail tariffs: for gas for both heating and cooking (the level of tariffs established in July): $81/tcm for households with gas meters, and $88/tcm for households without gas meters; for gas for cooking: $62/tcm for households with gas meters, and $66/tcm for households without gas meters.
