Turboatom agrees to deliver 6 turbines and hydraulic locks to Tajikistan

Turboatom (TATM) said on Friday that they were contracted by the Tajikistan Department of Energy to provide six turbines and hydraulic locks for the Nurek hydroelectric power station over 2009-2012. In related news, Turboatom said that it might create a joint venture in Tajikistan to design and produce turbine equipment for small and medium-size hydroelectric power plants.
