Tymoshenko opposes Turboatom privatization

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said yesterday that she is not in favor of the privatization of Turboatom (TATM). In mid-February President Viktor Yushchenko also said he was against putting the state’s stake in Turboatom (75.22%) up for sale; he viewed the company as a strategic state asset.
