Tymoshenko proposes guarantees to boost infrastructure investments

Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said on Friday that the Cabinet of Ministers would provide state guarantees to lenders to finance large-scale construction projects. Among the projects she mentioned were ports, airports and roads. Tymoshenko said the National Bank of Ukraine would lend the State Mortgage Institution UAH 1 bln to stimulate residential construction projects.
