Ukraine parliament forms EU parliamentary cooperation committee

Parliamentary Chair Volodymyr Rybak signed a decree on April 17 creating the parliamentary cooperation committee with the European Parliament, which reportedly evenly represents the ruling majority and opposition MPs, the Kommersant Ukrayina newspaper reported today. The conflict in forming the committee between the ruling and opposition MPs lasted three months. Among the committee members is billionaire Petro Poroshenko, whose last government post was economy minister.
