Ukraine repays CHF 768 mln Eurobond

Yesterday Ukraine repaid its CHF 768 mln Swiss Franc bond, the Finance Ministry reported. Ukraine announced in late July that bondholders exercised a put option on the bond, which would have matured in 2018. Ukraine’s next sovereign debt obligation due for redemption is its JPY 35.1 bln Samurai bond at the end of next year.
