Ukraine to increase electricity exports in 2H09?

According to the Ministry of Fuel and Energy and Ukrinternergo (electricity exports monopoly), Ukraine will resume exports of power to Poland in June 2009, and will also start exports to Belarus. Alexander Paraschiy: In 4M09 electricity exports from Ukraine fell by more than 2x yoy, or by more than 1 TWh, adding to a 10 TWh yoy decrease of power production in Ukraine. Exports to Poland and Belarus will increase production of electricity at Zakhidenergo’s (ZAEN) Dobrotvir TPP and Centrenergo’s (CEEN) Trypillia and Zmiiv TPPs.
