Ukraine’s budget surplus amounts to 0.91% of GDP in 8M08

According to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, Ukraine’s state budget surplus came to 0.91% of GDP or USD 1.2 bln in 8M08, from 0.22% of GDP or USD 0.2 mln in 7M08. We forecast state expenditures to grow significantly toward yearend and the state budget to end the year at negative 1.1% of GDP.
