Ukrainian banks' aggregate net income up 60% yoy in 11M08

The aggregate net income of Ukrainian banks in 11M08 was UAH 10.1 bln (USD 1.4 bln), +60.3% yoy, according to the National Bank of Ukraine. The banks’ net assets came to UAH 889.8 bln (USD 120.2 bln), +43.7% yoy; loan portfolios amounted to UAH 749.9 bln (USD 101.3 bln), +41.5% yoy; and equity was UAH 103.2 bln (USD 13.9 bln), +48.3% yoy.
