Ukrainian Banks Expand Mortgage Portfolios by 110% yoy in 2007

The total mortgage portfolios of Ukrainian banks increased 110% yoy to USD 11.3 bln in 2007, President of Ukrainian National Mortgage Association (UNIA) Igor Yushko, according to Interfax. Yushko projected that the volume of the sector’s aggregate mortgage portfolio could grow by 60% by eoy 2008.
