Ukrainian Banks: No Slow Down In Sight.

In May the loan portfolios of Ukrainian banks grew by 4.8% to USD 33.8 bln as of May 31, 2006. Loan portfolios have grown 19.1% (61.9% for 2005) over the last five months. Private deposits in banks rose by 1.8% to reach USD 16.2 bln as of May 31, 2006. Since the beginning of 2006, private deposits have increased 11.4% (76% in 2005).
