Ukrainian beet sugar production falls 30% yoy as of Nov. 5

Ukrsugar, the Ukrainian association of sugar producers, said yesterday that Ukrainian sugar refineries made 878.9 ths mt of sugar from beets so far in 2008, 30% less than over the same time last year. The association said that 66 sugar companies were in operation.
