Ukrainian coal extraction down 12.8% yoy in 4M09

Coal extraction in Ukraine decreased 12.8% yoy to 23.5 ths mt in 4M09, according to data published by the Ministry of Coal Industry on Wednesday. Coking coal extraction declined 16.9% yoy to 8.1 mln mt and energy coal by 10.5% yoy to 15.4 mln mt.
