Ukrainian Confectioner Konti Announces Plans To Boost Sales 30% yoy In 2007

One of Ukraine’s largest confectioners Konti announced plans to increase sales by 30 yoy in 2007 to USD 356 mln. In 2006 Konti’s sales grew 50% yoy to USD 277 mln. In November, Ernst & Young completed an IFRS audit of the company which reported net profits USD 184.2 mln, in 2005 up 34.4% yoy from 2004. According to Konti’s Finacial Director Dmitri Kolesnik, the company’s move to report IFRS financials is part of its preparations for a new investment project involving foreign investors.
