Ukrainian government to issue an additional USD 100 mln in Eurobonds

25 January 2011

Ukraine plans to issue an additional USD 100 mln in Eurobonds with a maturity in December 2011, according to a Cabinet of Ministers decision announced yesterday. In December 2010, these bonds were issued at 6.7% and are currently traded at 4.3% YTM. Apparently, the Finance Ministry is now trying to use favorable market conditions while it has a sufficient cash position to satisfy its needs for 1Q11.
