Ukreximbank buys UAH 50 mln of Lviv bonds

Ukreximbank, Ukraine’s state-owned import-export bank, purchased municipal bonds from the Western Ukrainian city of Lviv for UAH 50 mln, Interfax reported this morning, citing a Lviv city official. According to the article, the proceeds will be used to build the city’s stadium to host the UEFA European Football Championships in 2012. Ukreximbank is due to purchase the entire volume of the issue, UAH 300 mln.
