Ukrpyvo revises beer output growth to 5% yoy in 2008

The Ukrpyvo Association downgraded its FY08 forecast for beer production in Ukraine to 322 mln dal (down 2.4% compared to its previous estimate), the Association General Director Halyna Korenkova said at a press conference yesterday. Ukrpyvo also projects beer imports to be 112% yoy higher at 1.9 mln dal in 2008. Beer production grew by 5.5% yoy in 8M08.
