Ukrros finishes spring sowing campaign

Ukrros (UROS), the Ukrainian sugar producer, announced on Friday in a press release that completed its spring sowing campaign after planting 100.8 ths ha (vs. 55 ths ha in 2008). The company said that it sowed 17 ths ha with sugar beets, 23 ths ha with winter wheat, 26 ths ha with barley, 11.5 ths ha with sunflower, and 8.7 ths ha with corn.
