Ukrtelecom (UTEL: HOLD) Develops Its Networks

Ukrtelecom plans to build 4K km of fiber optic lines in all Ukrainian regions by 2006, increasing their length to 21K km by 2006. Besides, UTEL is going to increase the number of district centers with digital communication from 78% to 93% by 2006. Concorde Capital These plans of UTEL management are in line with the company strategy to develop it primary digital network, announced in 2003. By the endof 2005, all the regional centers are expected to be interconnected trough fiber optic lines.
